There is a lot of confusion in many parts of the world about the difference between lobster, prawn, and shrimp. Shrimp and prawn are similar in many ways, with their antennae (触角) being their most noticeable feature.

But lobsters’ most noticeable features are their large claws (はさみ). Lobsters are also larger than shrimp or prawn, and certainly larger than any piece of えび天! This dish is usually made with prawn, not lobster.

In a way, this English is correct. At this restaurant, you can dine (eat) and you can drink wine. However, this is not how the expression “wine and dine” is usually used.

In this expression, both wine and dine are transitive verbs (他動詞), and it means “to take someone out to one or more fancy meals, often because you want some favor from them in return (especially in business situations)”. For example, “They wined and dined the politician so that he would vote for the new law.”

This sign would be better if it had two nouns under the word “Enjoy!”

In Japanese, 「ん」can be written in Roman letters as either 「m」or「n」. But these two letters (and sounds) shouldn’t be confused in English. This word must be spelled “comfort”, not “confort”.
