The English itself is correct, but it’s not clear WHAT we’re not supposed to touch. Usually, such a sign will be ON the object that we’re not supposed to touch. So, we shouldn’t touch the sign, but it’s OK to touch the Suica penguin statue?

Just putting a space in the wrong place can really change the meaning! Clearly, the second word should be “not” and the third word should be “eat”. There should be a space after the “t” and not before it. Unfortunately, “teat” means 「乳房」. And, I suppose you shouldn’t do that here, either.

This interactive screen at Miraikan is giving a correct translation of 「地球を探る」, but not the correct translation in this situation, since the user is supposed to look for things on the earth, not look for the earth itself! If we can’t find the earth, we’re in serious trouble!
The problem is, “for” is unnecessary.
