Don’t let this mistake pass you by

Tim says:

A passage a path, road, etc. that people or vehicles pass through. So a sign saying that the next train is “passage” seems strange.

「通過」 could be translated as “passing through”, but I don’t think a sign in an English-speaking country would express it that way. It’s hard to find good examples, but I think it’s more likely that the sign would say something like this:

O This train will not stop
